Can you share Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass is shared through the console, not a family plan. When you set an Xbox as your Home Xbox, everyone who signs in on that console can play Game Pass games on their own profile, with their own saves and achievements.
PC Game Pass and consoles away from home work differently, and Game Pass plans change from time to time. Check the current terms in your country before you split a subscription.

How does Home Xbox sharing work?
The subscriber sets one console as their Home Xbox. Anyone signed in on it gets the subscriber’s Game Pass library on their own profile.
The subscriber can change their Home Xbox only a few times a year, currently five. It is meant for one home and the people who play there.
On other consoles, only the subscriber gets Game Pass, by signing in with their own profile.
Does PC Game Pass share the same way?
No. PC Game Pass stays with the subscriber’s own account and does not extend to others in the home.
A Microsoft family on its own does not extend Game Pass either. The sharing comes from the console.
Who should you split Game Pass with?
The people who play on the same console at home: siblings, flatmates, a partner. Only share a plan whose terms cover the people you add.
Because sharing works through one console, splitting with friends in other homes does not give them Game Pass. Keep the room to the people who play on your Xbox.
