How does subscription splitting work in a housing society?

Neighbourhood communities are coming soon. They are not open in the app yet, so a housing society cannot have its own community on NeverSub today.

Neighbours do not have to wait, though. Anyone can create a room for a plan they already pay for and send the invite link to the flats that want in. Everything else works the same as any other room.

When will society communities open?

They are coming soon. We will add them once a building has a dependable way to check who lives there.

College and company communities work because an email domain shows who belongs. A building does not have one, so its community needs a different check. Until that exists, we would rather not open communities anyone could walk into.

This page will change when society communities open. Everything below works today.

How do neighbours pay?

Directly. Each member pays the host with whatever they already use, taps “I’ve paid”, and the host confirms.

NeverSub never holds money and charges no fee. The login unlocks for a member only after the host confirms their payment.

Each month the host sees who has paid and can send a reminder through any messaging app. When someone moves out, they can leave the room or the host can remove them.

Is it safe to share with neighbours?

Share with neighbours you trust. Payments go directly between you, so NeverSub cannot step in to return them.

Logins are encrypted and shown only to confirmed members, and the host can remove anyone at any time.

You can download your data or delete your account from inside the app whenever you want.
