Roadmap
What is coming next to NeverSub?
NeverSub starts small on purpose: private rooms with people you already know, verified college and company communities, and payments that go straight to the host. Everything on this page is planned, not built.
This is the direction, in rough order, not a promise or a schedule. Plans can change as we learn what people actually need.
Public communities and neighbourhood groups
We plan to add public communities and groups, including neighbourhoods, so people can find a room beyond the circles they are verified in.
Sharing with people you do not know yet needs more than an invite link, so public spaces come together with the trust signals, reporting and community admins described below.
Today, rooms are private and open seats can only be listed in a verified college or company community.
Optional in-app payments and automatic reminders
We plan to offer optional in-app payment collection, region by region, with reminders that can turn into automatic payments.
Paying the host directly, with “I’ve paid” and the host’s confirmation, will stay. In-app payment would be one more way to settle a share, never the only one.
Today, NeverSub never holds money: members pay the host with whatever they already use.
Admins for large communities
Planned for large college and company communities: admins and moderation tools, so a community can look after itself as it grows.
Today, every member of a community is equal.
Notification settings and a host inbox
We plan to add notification settings, a reminder schedule you choose for each room, and an inbox that gathers everything a host needs to do.
Today, a host sends a reminder through any messaging app, and the activity feed shows what changed in each room.
Seat swaps and bundles
Planned for later: swapping a seat in one room for a seat in another, and bundles that put several plans together.
Today, each room is one plan, and a member leaves one room and joins another to switch.
Chat inside rooms
We plan to add chat inside rooms and groups, so the people sharing a plan can talk in the same place they pay.
Today, invites and reminders go through the messaging apps people already use, straight from the share sheet.
Trust score and ratings
Planned for later: a trust score and ratings for hosts and members, built on a record of paying and confirming on time.
Today, the trust signal is the verified college or company badge, shown on communities and the rooms listed in them.
Hindi and more languages
We plan to bring NeverSub to more languages, starting with Hindi and other Indian languages, then European languages.
Today, NeverSub is in English, for India, the US, the UK and the EU.
Share your digital world
Later, we plan for NeverSub to cover more than subscriptions: anything digital you pay for and could share with people you trust.
The idea stays the same as today: people you trust, a fair split, and a clear record of who has paid.
