Terms of Service

These terms explain how NeverSub works, what hosts and members are responsible for, and why payments go directly between them.

1. Our role as a platform

NeverSub is a platform that helps people who already trust each other create, join and manage rooms for sharing a subscription they already pay for. We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

NeverSub is not a reseller. It does not resell, sublicense, lease or provide any third-party service itself. A host is the person who says they lawfully hold the access being shared. A member is the person joining that room.

We do not promise that any third-party plan will allow sharing, stay available, stay unchanged or work on every device. Hosts and members must check and follow the rules that apply to the thing being shared.

2. Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code sent by text. An email address is optional; you need one only to join a college or company community or to receive a plan invite from a host.

Give accurate information, keep your phone and account secure and do not let another person use your account to avoid these Terms. If you are under 18, use NeverSub only with involvement of a parent or guardian where the law requires it.

You can download your data or delete your account from inside the app at any time.

3. Communities

College and company communities are joined by verifying an email address on the community’s domain. Each domain has one community, and the first person to verify creates it. Other members see that you are verified, not your address.

Neighbourhood and open communities are not available yet.

We may refuse, limit or remove access where we reasonably believe a community, room or account is fake, unsafe, unlawful or being used to bypass another provider’s rules.

4. Rooms and sharing rules

A room covers one subscription or plan that the host already pays for. People join a room through an invite link or code from the host, or by taking an open seat listed in a community.

Hosts must describe the room honestly: what is being shared, the number of seats, the price, what a seat includes and any house rules a member needs to know before paying.

Hosts must only share plans whose terms permit sharing with the people they add. Members must use access only for the room purpose, must not sell it onward, must not publish login details, and must not use NeverSub to share anything unlawful, unsafe or not theirs to share.

5. Payments between members and hosts

Members pay hosts directly, using whatever payment method the two of them choose. NeverSub is not a party to these payments, does not process them and never holds funds for anyone.

A member marks a payment as made in the room, and the host confirms it. NeverSub keeps that record so both sides can see who has paid. The record is not proof that money moved, and NeverSub does not verify payments.

NeverSub is free to use and charges no platform fee. Prices shown on this site may be converted for display; the share a member pays is shown in the room. NeverSub is not a bank or NBFC, and is not a payment system operator or deposit-taking institution.

6. Disagreements, failed rooms and complaints

Because payments go directly between members and hosts, NeverSub cannot refund, reverse or recover a payment. A disagreement about money or access is between the host and the member.

Hosts can remove members and end rooms; members can leave a room at any time. A host must not confirm a payment they have not received, and must not take payment for a seat they cannot provide.

NeverSub is not a court and does not guarantee dispute mediation. If you report a room or account, we may ask for information and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or end rooms that break these Terms.

7. Consumer information

Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply, the app shows the host, the room terms, the share and our grievance contact before a member takes a seat.

If you believe a listing is misleading, unlawful or violates your rights, write to us at hello@neversub.com with the room details. We will review it under our intermediary duties and applicable law.

8. Platform rules

Do not use NeverSub for fraud, harassment, unlawful sharing, scraping, spam, false payment claims, impersonation or anything that harms another user or the platform.

Do not upload or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, infringing, harmful to children, or otherwise prohibited under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or end rooms where needed to enforce these Terms, comply with law or protect users.

9. Service limits

We will try to operate NeverSub with reasonable care. Still, the product may be interrupted, delayed, changed or unavailable, especially during launch.

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss caused by third-party plan changes, payments between members and hosts, wrong information supplied by a host or member, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer, data protection or other mandatory law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and the law change. The latest version will be posted here with its last updated date.

If a change materially affects your rights or how payments work in NeverSub, we will give reasonable notice through the product or by email where practical.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer remedies available under Indian law, the courts of New Delhi will have jurisdiction.
