How do you share Canva with a team?

Canva Teams is Canva’s plan for working together. Every person on it has their own account and seat, and the team shares designs, folders, templates and brand kits. It starts at three people.

Canva Pro, the personal plan, is for one person, so the way to share Canva is a Teams plan with a seat for each person. Check Canva’s current terms in your country before you set one up.

Who can join a Canva team?

Anyone the team owner invites, each with their own seat. A Teams plan needs at least three people.

Only share a plan whose terms cover the people you add. Teams suits a design class, a small studio, a college society that makes its own posters or a few freelancers who share clients.

The seats on the plan, the owner’s included, are the seats in the room.

What does a Canva team share?

Designs, folders, templates and brand kits. Each person still has their own login and their own private designs.

Agree who owns the brand kit and the shared folders, so a member leaving does not take the team’s work with them. Write it in “What’s included” on the room, for example “your own seat, plus the shared brand folder”.

How do you split the cost of Canva Teams?

Divide the price across the seats in use. NeverSub turns it into whole shares that add up to the price, with no fee on top.

The owner creates a room and invites people with a link, or lists seats in a college or company community they have verified. Members pay the owner directly, with UPI or whatever they already use, tap “I’ve paid”, and the owner confirms. Then the room shows the email to invite to the team.

NeverSub never holds money. It keeps the record of who has paid for which month.

What happens when someone leaves the team?

The owner removes them from the team, and the seat opens again in the room.

Before someone leaves, move any shared work into a team folder so it stays with the team. The host can then send the invite link to the next person.
